Unlike disposable gloves, RevoGlov is applied as a hydrogel and dries to form a microfilm coating on your skin.  It’s unique, eco-friendly, and provides an invisible barrier while protecting your skin from exposure to both liquid and solid contaminants that do not contain water.

RevoGlov is not a traditional glove. It offers a unique form of protection against skin exposure to contaminants and retains dexterity while performing everyday tasks that do not require specialised protection, e.g., mechanical or medical.

RevoGlov retains your sense of feel and ability to touch.  It is comfortable to wear due to its thin microfilm design. Because it adheres to the skin, RevoGlov allows for more precise and unrestrained hand movements. RevoGlov gloves are breathable and moisturising to provide maximum comfort while being worn.

Using a 200ml bottle of RevoGlov[1], use:

• one pump (0.5ml) for smaller hands
• two pumps (1ml) for medium-sized hands
• three pumps (1.5ml) for larger hands.

 Applying the right amount for your hands size is essential. Using too much of the Microfilm Glove hydrogel is not beneficial because it slows down drying. It also weakens the coating which may result in flaking.

With practice comes perfection; users will get a feel for how much product is needed for their hands after they have used RevoGlov a few times.

On application of a recommended amount, RevoGlov hydrogel layer is approximately 100 microns (one-tenth of a millimetre), drying into a 10-micron (one-hundredth of a millimetre) microfilm glove.

The hydrogel undergoes a 3-phase process to transform from hydrogel into a microfilm glove that adheres seamlessly to the skin.

Phase 1: (immediately on application) The hydrogel adheres to the skin while being spread. The natural solvent (water) in the liquid phase is held within the hydrogel’s mesh/foam structure.

Phase 2: (1 – 60 seconds) Water evaporates due to heat from the skin – and other factors such as environmental temperature, relative humidity and barometric pressure –causing a compression of the mesh structure into a thin microfilm coating.

Phase 3: Once the water has evaporated, the microfilm is fully formed, adhered to, and settled on the skin, leaving a smooth feel when touched.

Yes. For the microfilm glove to be effective, it needs to fully dry, which it does in under a minute after application of the appropriate amount. The completely dry microfilm gloves are characterised by a smooth, non-sticky feel once the water evaporates.

Strong friction may break the microfilm coating, which is particularly vulnerable if applied excessively with too much rubbing or when it has not fully dried.

A sticky feel indicates the RevoGlov did not dry completely. While the RevoGlov hydrogel is still wet, it has a sticky feel, however that feeling disappears as it dries, leaving behind a smooth to the touch coating. Application of excessive amount extends the drying time and prolongs the duration of the sticky feel.
